The Ecphorizer

Low Tide Line
William James Griffin

Issue #65 (April 1987)

The cold sea captain rests
    somewhere in his
shoreline comfort
    he's a guest
sometimes on his
    green park bench
sometimes somewhere
    lonesome pacing
along the low tide line
    a full moon light
        the Captain rests
            closes the door
                remembering how well
                    he wanted to live
on the shore.

WILLIAM JAMES GRIFFIN, who has been published in more than 60 anthologies and journals, has just finished another book.
