The Ecphorizer
Bag Woman Sharon Dario
Wandering through mirror wet streets
under the moon,
her eyes empty as washcloths,
her skin sunbaked with marks
of a thousand birdclaws,
she sucks on a discarded lemon
and through layers of pockets
lines up the holes
to finger her social security check.
