High Reality
Cory Brown

Issue #67 (June 1987)

High Reality is glory
indeed,
dung in the Andes. But
slow plodding
steps to reach
the empyreal
pile are
begotten only
in the low
lands, valleys
of a lost
and stinking
thought.

Poet CORY BROWN avows that he has "raised Black Angus crossbreeds and a few Holsteins; some pigs when I was very small, one in particular named Oscar..." And what did Oscar say when you invited him to dinner?
