Of course I happen to agree with him — but even if I didn't, I would be shocked that anyone should react so violently to his opinions; it is, after all, still supposed to be a free country. But don't apologize for such articles, or warn people against them. Unfortunately, the real Bulwer-Lytton contest, at San Jose State University, has just happened and so I'm too late to send my entry there.
