Typesetting those Equations Giving credit where credit is due: It is darn near impossible for an amateur websetter like me to set up complex equations like those in this article. I searched a site that lists current Macintosh applications and found several equation editors. The one that worked best here is called MathEQ, available from an outfit called LiveMath. In this equation editor it was a snap to define the background color and enter the equations, then save as little graphic images, which were then imported into the site. Nothin is perfect, it seems, so if you look closely you'll notice a slight difference in the background color and the surrounding yellow.
