"Mum" is a palindrome kind of word:
When you repeat it backwards,
It's what you just heard.
It means "wax" in Persian (among other things)
And gave its name to Egypt's dead kings.
It's a term for silence that you can hear,
A very strong variety of Braunschweiger beer,
And a double-headed flower most pleasing to the eyes.
You do it when making merry in disguise.
The English use it as a word for "Mother."
Can you think of any other?
